Gainesville, FL – March 31st, 2021 – Butler Enterprises, the largest retail center in North Central Florida, recently announced that Elizabeth Scott had joined the company’s marketing team as Director of Community and Events. Elizabeth is responsible for planning and executing marketing strategies to drive growth and foot traffic to the shopping center’s 150 retail and dining establishments.
“I’m thrilled to bring my experience and learnings to the Butler Enterprises team and to return to my hometown,” says Elizabeth. “I’m eager to put my skills to work, bringing people together and enriching an already thriving community by innovating and growing the marketing efforts of Butler Enterprises.”
Elizabeth comes to Butler Enterprises most recently from YI Technology, an international hardware and software company, where she served as Global Head of Content and Product Marketing. In this role, she was responsible for developing and implementing all global marketing efforts and product launches. During her time at YI, she launched 18 hardware products and several software services.
Before YI, she was the Director of Social Media at Upload VR and a Social Media Strategist at Google. She also co-founded and successfully exited the e-commerce company Startup Drugz, a satirical lifestyle brand for entrepreneurs.
Elizabeth has over seven years of experience in product marketing and content strategy, in addition to developing brands’ narratives and tones. She has managed teams of local and international full-time employees, PR and creative agencies, videographers, and independent contractors. She has built and developed content marketing from the ground up, but she has also joined established Fortune 100 Companies and made her mark there.
Elizabeth holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Emory University in Art History and Anthropology. She has been recognized and received awards such as Top Woman in Tech and Top Women Leading the Virtual Reality Industry.
