Cheddar’s Opening May 11 + A New Boutique Is Coming

New retail and dining options are coming to Butler Shopping Center as Jane + Mercer and Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, a concept from Darden Restaurants, prepare to open at their new locations. Jane + Mercer will occupy approximately 2,000 square feet of retail space at 3597 SW 32nd Court, Suite 20, while Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen will open May 11th in a 7,900-square-foot freestanding building at 3989 Plaza Boulevard, replacing the former Bahama Breeze location. These new openings continue to build on the strong mix of shopping and dining that makes the area a favorite in Gainesville.

Jane + Mercer will introduce a fresh, modern retail experience with a carefully curated selection of goods designed to feel both stylish and attainable. The boutique concept is focused on creating an easy, enjoyable shopping environment that blends everyday functionality with elevated design.

Opening May 11th, Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen will bring its well-known, made-from scratch menu and comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere to the area. As part of Darden Restaurants, the brand is recognized for delivering consistent quality and value, serving childhood classics like homemade chicken pot pie, making it a fitting addition for both casual dining and group gatherings.
